HISTORY OF A BLACK LINE

Ink on paper.  (2012)
Twenty six 6×4  inches drawings on index cards. Three 8×11 inches drawings on paper. One 11×14 inches drawing on paper. One 16×20 inches drawing on paper
The History of a Black Line is a drawing exercise where I make a straight line at the bottom of a piece of paper, then I try to copy this line, then I try to copy the second line and so on until the whole page is filled with a certain pattern.
I see these drawings as time recording devices, each of them talks about the moment when they were made and reflect the specific emotional conditions under which I was in that period.
